Even Rocks Don't Last Forever by Gobbledegook published on 2017-12-06T20:07:07Z Recorded whilst sitting next to the beach on the Sura Medura International Artist Residency in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. Recorded in one quick take to catch the mood. I used a section of an apparently 'very old' Sri Lankan song in Sinhalese (Ipadee Lowe) Anders had discovered as a chorus, and crafted music and lyrics around my feelings on Sri Lankan geology. credits: Lorna Rees on lead vox and ukulele, Helen Ottaway on keys, Anders Rigg on Dholki, Flick Ferdinando on backing vocals and guitar, Kyna Hodges and Rae-Yen Song on backing vocals. MANY thanks to Anders Rigg for recording the track and to Kyna Hodges for the photo Genre Folk & Singer-Songwriter
