When you hit that high note, it’s too squeaky. Maybe that’s not the right description but you’re making too big a deal out of it. I would approach that part of your song with more subtlety. Next, the rhythm is nice and kind of cute and it’s probably appropriate for this kind of song but after a while, it just was like I felt like I was on the merry-go-round! And harmonically around the two minute mark, you finally put in a little bit of cord change with that downward descending part, but the rhythm was still the same as the rest of the song. Song like this cries out for a C-section or some kind of event where you can Change keys, change points of view, but most of all change the rhythm and the groove.
