In the past three years, Accra based producer, DJ and songwriter Gafacci had several conversations circulating around the term, Low Fidelity‘. Gafacci is well known for notable artist collaborations, eclectic edits and his Asokpor productions.
On this new four-track EP, he steps out of familiar soundscapes, driven by his steadily desire to explore the melodic side of his nature. That led to the need to experiment with the ,Lo-Fi‘ sound and infuse it with minimal afrobeats as well as tropical music.
On top of that, his new creation is a dedication to every individual out there who supports the music of artists they like. The Title, TASH BNM‘, meaning, Tash bought new music‘ is inspired by the notifications of a music connoisseur’s regular purchases on bandcamp.
