Alice Russel's " Humanity" (Tru Thoughts) over Ruff Cut Label's "Jah No dead" riddim. The riddim also had Beres' "Say thankyou" and Jr Kelly's "Jah No Dead" both heavy duty tunes that used to run hot in reggae dances.. The version is well tripped out, so had to do the same with Alice's vocal. The funny anecdote is that the owner of the rights to Alice Russel's song, Robert Luis who runs Tru Thoughts, sent me an email, saying he owned the copyright and had seen the vinyl in the top sales of Juno! Ooops.. Luckily I know he's made bootleg remixes too, and he just asked for some copies to give to the crew - I did and offered to do some official remixes for him, but he wasn't interested...
