ETANE - Call the Ball [Feinstoff] by Feinstoff

With Call The Ball, Feinstoff marks its eighteenth release, handing the reins to Cologne’s ETANE for a four-track trip moving with the tension of indie dance, the grit of EBM and a post-punk undercurrent. On the flip, the title track is reimagined by French artist MMYYLO, known for his slow-burning, analogue-driven darkness.

Johns Empire locks into a stripped-back drive, its mechanic bassline grinding forward with precision. The floor is clearly its destination, but the track keeps a post-punk shadow hanging over every bar. An eerie lead cuts through the mix with goosebump intensity, all wrapped in pristine production that shows ETANE at his sharpest. A cut that speaks the Feinstoff language in its purest form.
