a picture tells a story
but just a tiny slice in time
the images caught on your phone
miss so much between the lines

   carefree and careless
   over our heads
   over the line

   trying to capture a moment

the way you wriinkled up your nose
when i asked if this was love

that infectious girlish giggle
that single tear when you were sad
