i hear the clock strike
i'm reminded by that bird

cuckoo is all i've heard

if he calls out one more time

   he called me cuckoo through the night

   undeniable, certifiable
   crazy as a loon

it's nearly morning
where the hell you at
i smashed that bird; i warned him
can't take no more of that

one last look, hit the lights
giving up, going to bed
but something just ain't right
cuckoo still running through my head
