U2 - New Year's Day (Ferry Corsten Remix) by ferry-corsten

In 1999 Ferry Corsten was asked to do a remix of the U2 classic "New Year's Day". The result was a great trance remix, that got a lot of great response on the dancefloors worldwide. Even U2's Bono made a phonecall to Ferry to thank him for the great remix he did.

Because of several issues, Ferry's remix did not get a release, so only a few lucky DJ's (such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Paul Oakenfold), had a copy of the remix and they always did play it in their sets during New Year's.

In 2008, U2's album "War", got a re-release, including a bonus CD with previously unreleased material. U2 decided to include the Ferry Corsten Remix of "New Year's Day" as well, so after almost 10 years, the remix finally is available!
