When the hypnotic flow of Chicago-born rapper Shivani Ahlowalia discovered the tropical sounds of Danish bass act Copia Doble Systema, Alo Wala was born. With a distinctly hybrid and colorful sound, they mashup South American rhythms and Indian sounds with galactic elements of hip¬-hop, dancehall and countless bass-driven genres to create an unique dancefloor experience. After revealing themselves to the world with a vibrant collaboration with MC Zulu and Nucleya called Little Lotto, the transnational outfit is now ready to present their debut EP ‘City Boy’ via Enchufada.
