Empty Head

A versatile five-piece band from Liège, Belgium, Empty Head mix raging guitar riffs and hard-hitting drums with obsessive melodies, delivering a cutthroat alternative rock directly inspired by the (anti-)heroes from the 90s. Powerful yet subtle, raw but undoubtedly catchy, they cultivate the contrasts in an explosive D.I.Y blend of grunge, punk-rock, garage rock and stoner.

Formed in 2019, Empty Head spent most of the year immersed in writing and shaping their sound as well as recording demos for their debut EP. In 2020, they self-recorded and self-produced their debut EP at KoKo Records (Liège) thanks to drummer (Thibault Schouters) who handled the role of sound engineer on this first EP.

Empty Head self-released a first single and music video ‘Hunted From Below’ in February 2021 and announced the release date of their debut EP for May 14th 2021. The band worked with King Rat (Gilles Deschamps), a Belgian artist specialized in animations and punk’n’roll cartoons, to make the animated video of ‘Cosmic Rave’ and the artwork of their debut EP.

Empty Head are Simon Galloy (lead vocals), brothers Thomas (guitar / vocals) and François Michels (guitar), Benoit Thomé (bass / vocals) and Thibault Schouters (drums).
