The kitchen dining room, no longer exists
Just quiet empty chairs, where people used to sit
Such a large empty space, that could now echo and boom
If there ever was a sound that would grace this room

And my old heart is exactly the same
Except for the part where it feels the pangs
The good ol’ days, were just cocktails and fair-weather faces
Can you tell me who can fill, these large empty spaces

A six foot hole, two big boots wide
I find it hard to fill with my ordinary life
Still, these acres and acres of fading memories
Is not enough space for the all guilty and bereaved
