European Pavilion Podcast This first season of this podcast series is produced as part of The European Pavilion: an initiative launched by the ECF in 2020 in order to encourage imaginaries beyond the national, and address the way people, institutions and media feel about Europe. With the series, we wish to open up urgent questions that hover in any conversation about the future of Europe. Among the personalities that we had the chance and privilege to talk with are historian Timothy Snyder, novelist and essayist Rana Dasgupta, researcher Lara Garcia Diaz, activists Zamzam Ibrahim and Joci Marton, palaeontologist Tim Flannery, philosopher Tristan Garcia, artist Joanna Rajkowska. Choreographing an artistic flow across four European rivers, Liquid Becomings is a travelling pavilion that takes the form of four boats sailing on four European rivers, before coming together in Lisbon for a final artistic programme in November 2024. Featuring interviews with the curators and partners involved, the podcast series also reflect on what the Liquid Becomings journey and themes mean to Europe.
