Demo of EGC neck partscaster guitar by Dusky Electronics published on 2018-01-07T15:17:23Z Demo does two run throughs of 5 pickup configs in this order: Neck Middle Bridge Neck + Bridge All 3 Followed by something a little rockin' on the bridge pup, then something kind of sweet on the neck pup. Only the last piece is written by someone--"Crepusculo sul Mare" by Piero Umiliani. | Guitar details: Electrical Guitar Company FMIC-spec bolt on neck. Warmoth Guitars Mahogany body finished in seafoam green. Mahogany chosen for weight to try and balance with the neck. Mastery Bridge Bridge and Vibrato. Mojotone "Johnny Winter" Firebird pickups in neck and middle. Chosen because I wanted bright humbuckers. Electrical Guitar Company Humbucker in bridge because, also, bright humbuckers, and I wanted the aesthetics of three chrome pickups without screws or anything disrupting the surface. Knobs are borrowed from the stash I use for Dusky Electronics D2O amps. Never occurred to me to put those on a guitar before, but I think they look pretty hot. EGC Humbucker is actually a "neck" model, because I looked at the specs, and it looked the "bridge" might be too hot to balance well with the Mojotones. Seems to have been a good call. They balance perfectly.
