#490: Social Media Is The New TV Show: Don't Be Fooled By The Actors by Dre 'DreAllDay' Baldwin published on 2017-08-07T05:37:56Z People have rallied against hip hop music, and gangsta rap in particular, for the negative images it uses to influence the youth. But no one ever goes against TV shows which can be just as poisoning. The reasoning goes, we can tell that TV isn't real while this seems real. Whatever. I'm very thankful for social media. If you consider YouTube and/or podcasts to be social media, then social media has created the entire foundation of my business and brand. I'm PRO social media. But I also see a lot of fronting on social media that fools the observers, and has many people thinking they need to be something they're not. Just as if you were watching a tv show, learn to enjoy it and discard it when it's over. --- Listen on: iTunes | Stitcher | Soundcloud | Google Play | Overcast | Pocket Casts | Blubrry | Player.FM Comment on this episode!
