DJ Prophet has been shaping New York’s electronic music scene since 2007. Based in Saratoga Springs, he’s become known for high-energy sets and razor-sharp mixing, blending Tech House, G-House, and everything in between. His fearless approach to genre has carried him from underground contests to international festival stages, building a reputation as both a technical powerhouse and a relentless crowd-mover.
His journey began in the blog house era, fueled by a love for the boundary-pushing sounds that defined the late 2000s. By 2012, he was a semi-finalist in SoBe’s Clash of the DJs in Miami, followed the next year with a performance at Camp Bisco. 2015 marked a major breakthrough when he won the Mysteryland USA DJ Contest, earning a coveted slot on Beatport’s stage alongside Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, and A-Trak. In 2018, he co-founded the duo Brunch Boyz and won Groove Cruise Miami’s DJ Contest, further cementing his reputation as an artist with unstoppable momentum.
Over nearly two decades, DJ Prophet has shared the stage with an extraordinary roster of global talent. From mainstage icons like Tiësto, Avicii, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Loud Luxury, Markus Schulz, Seven Lions, and Timmy Trumpet, to festival and club favorites such as 3LAU, A-Trak, Adrian Lux, Angger Dimas, AutoErotique, Bart B More, Borgeous, Borgore, Boris, Botnek, Chocolate Puma, Chuckie, Chus & Ceballos, DallasK, Danny Avila, David Tort, Datsik, Disco Fries, DJ Dan, DJ S.K.T., Dzeko, DVBBS, Fedde Le Grand, Flashmob, Gina Turner, GTA, Harry Romero, Jason Ross, Joel Fletcher, Joeski, and Karsten Sollers.
He’s also performed alongside innovators and rising stars including Keys N’ Krates, k?d, Kill The Noise, KOAN Sound, Matt Sassari, Mimosa, MitiS, Mt. Eden, NERVO, Quintino, Sidney Samson, Sultan + Shepard, Sydney Blu, Tommie Sunshine, Two Fresh, Viceroy, Walshy Fire, Will Sparks, and Yolanda Be Cool. This diverse list underscores Prophet’s ability to move seamlessly between the underground and the mainstream, always meeting the moment on the dancefloor.
As a producer, Prophet has gained international recognition for both original tracks and bold remixes. His single “Get Into The Mood” was featured on Café Mambo Radio Ibiza, while his rework of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Innerbloom” received support from Diplo at Lollapalooza, New York Fashion Week, and Miami Music Week. His reimagining of Kanye West’s “Carnival” soared to #1 on BPM Supreme’s Top 50 Dance chart in April 2024, and his remix of Above & Beyond’s “Sun & Moon” has been championed by Vintage Culture, DJs From Mars, and Merk & Kremont. Flips like Men At Work’s “Down Under” (dropped by La Fuente at Dreamfields Festival) and Rusted Root’s “Send Me On My Way” (featured on KISS Dance by TCTS & D.O.D.) highlight his knack for reworking classics into modern dancefloor weapons.
