BIOGRAPHY

Latin vibe to exchange with the world, DJ SEBASS is a pioneers and an icon for Drum and Bass movement in Latin America, Colombia and mostly in his place of birth Bogota. His work has been focused on spreading and strengthening the underground movement in Latin America, the electronic music as a political, artistic and cultural movement.

Strongly influenced by the free techno movement he begins to work on projects with high political content, wanting to generate a direct impact in different sectors of society, this comes to a gathering with the creation of Bogotrax festival (www.bogotrax.org) been DJ SEBASS one of its founders and organizers.

Currently he is working with his brand RE.SET (https://www.facebook.com/RE.SET.Colombia), an initiative that for 10 years has been building culture around de Bass Music ( Drum and bass, Dub, Dubstep) and Sound System culture. He’s done many collaborations with some of the most influential labels, brands and artists such as Metalheadz, Dispatch, Virus, Offkey, Therapy Sessions, Melting Pot, among others, as well as with most of the crews and artists in Latin America that work around these sounds. Such work has taken RE.SET to be recognized as one of most important brand promoting Bass Music in the southern hemisphere.

He is also actively working with X-TRACTOR crew (www.x-tractor.org), an audio visual initiative that works experimenting around technologies of information and communication, developing different activities such as concerts, performances, workshops, parties, festivals and conferences around the world, with the single purpose of creating a manifestation against expressions like sexism, racism, discrimination and violence.

Thanks to all this DJ SEBASS has exchanged experiences with artists of the highest levels from different parts of the world that allowed him to developed his technique, talent and skills on a mixing level, that has placed him as one of the most important DJS in the region, taking his style and sound to countries in Latin America and Europe such as France-Venezuela-Argentina-Peru–Bolivia–Ecuador.

Now with more than 15 years of experience he brings a 100% vinyl Dj set, a musical history full of mental sounds with of energy, perfect to close your eyes and let yourself go.
