At an early age he would go to the skating rinks not to skate but to learn and watch the master craftsmen of the art of street dancing. It’s not hard to know who Natural was interested in music wise. Michael Jackson, Egyptian Lover, Debonaire and Rockwell are just a few names out of the 1000′s of inspirations! Natural had always loved ALL music classifications such as Classic Rock {Led Zepplin, Iron Maiden, Ozzy } to Oldies. In the early 90′s Natural had been influence to check the underground scene out. Though there really was no real breaks going on at the time but, he found this scene to be intriguing. It was a culture based around respect and unity for one and another through the power of music. Throughout the years, Natural had developed some serious rug cutting skills, and banned with many crews to rock these events! Natural really had no intentions on ever being a DJ! It came to a point in late 95 that he decided it was time to do something different. Not for himself, but for the breakers.  After paying $40-$100 to go out to a show where you never heard breaks was getting old for the dancers! At that time, you paid $16-$20 for a CD that had maybe 1-3 tracks that you would actually like. It became clear for Natural to stop waisting the money on shows and CDs and Buy wax instead. He decided to get some turntables to make mixes for himself and his friends craving breaks. His dance crew was upset, because they knew the dedication that was soon to set in. They always told him he had better not stop dancing!!!  Shouts to Mike Underwood / Tony / Mike-E / Will / Chris / Andy / Donnie / Heather / Chad / [ Special shouts* Axis night Club Wilmington N.C, and many other great friends in NC. NC has the Boom Booms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Becoming a DJ would prove to be the best decision of his life. He had met a really good friend named G-Ron from NY, that gave him the best advice on what a DJ should do and be! It did not take long {One Month} before he got his first gig in Wilmington, NC. From there, he decided to move back to Colorado to help take a movement of breaks back to the scene. Having so many great friends that were true dancers kept the inspiration going. Huge dance influences in Colorado were Mike Reynolds, Jay Reynolds and Bruce Davis, along with many others!  Bruise Your Body Breaks has been around since 1998. The name Bruise Your Body Breaks came about when Natural Nate was spinning at a party. After his set, a guy came up to him and showed him a bruise that was on the left side of his back.  He stated that "the bass was hitting so hard that it bruised his body". So as stated, “If the dancing does not bruise your body the music will!” In 2010... BYBB Started new chapter with THE-LOST-ART.COM. Stronger... Faster.. Smarter.. and from Mars! *Other BYBB Members: Mike Devious / Tray peel / Ghost { Ian }  In 2001, Natural was presented an opportunity with working with one of the biggest labels in the world. He went through massive amounts of paper work and was looking forward to the future. He received a phone call by his manager at the time that said he had some bad news. After all of the demos that was sent in, they had made a decision that his mixing was computer generated. This crushed Naturals dreams and he was ready to quit. Few years had past, and Natural was presented with an opportunity of doing Internet radio. He did not respond back right away. He knew the person that had asked him to do this venture would not hold up their end and was not sure if he wanted the commitment.  He stared at over 7,000 of his records, thinking it would be cool to preserve them by mixing them live and putting them away forever once the shows were done. BYBB debuted on Breaks FM early 2006, humble to be there. They soon moved over to Nubreaks.com, and helped with MANY ground breaking ideas and techniques such as the Bend scratch or Taco scratch and the Airplane Pitch control along with the push/block/Square mix.   Bruise Your Body Breaks was not only the FIRST to start Live video, but also to make it mandatory to prove the mixing by using live Internet video! The VERY FIRST SHOW BYBB did, they used a camcorder to record insuring they would be able to prove their mixes. Early 2006 a friend came into the station and asked " Why is nobody in the world using live video for their stations?" It was simple for BYBB to understand the importance of this massive tool and soon started working on the first REAL Internet show to ever use Live video to prove the mix! This changed the way everyone looks at Internet radio to this day!    Bruise Your Body Breaks was nominated in 2008 -2011 for Best Radio show. Also, in 2010, Natural sets a world record with http://recordsetter.com/ using Rane's Serato Scratch as the fastest mix DJ at 133 BPMs. { Beats per minute } http://recordsetter.com/world-record/133-BPM-Vinyl-Mixes-Hour This meant the world to Natural, due to the fact he wanted people to get excited about mixing again. It was also a way to show respect to a few of the producers that believed in his crazy idea. Last but least, BREAKS WERE USED! This world record was to inspire people to use their talents for their dreams! In late 2010, Natural and a group of great friends came together to form a new idea for Internet radio. www.the-lost-art.com was created to teach others the arts of mixing by highlighting the amazing artists that make this music we call Breaks/Electro along with all of the other amazing genre's. Music has the power to teach people the true meaning of life. Respect and honor are the most important things to being apart of this growing station.  2008-12, Bruise Your Body Breaks was Nominated for best in radio and 2010-12 best in breaks label along with Natural taking a spot with the top 50 best breaks djs in the world {2011} with http://www.breakspoll.com/ {#43 } This was one of his greatest honors to be achived in the fact the people are the ones that voted. Natural also walked away with a Nomination for Best E.P. with Natural Nate and Jiggabots " Robot Pieces" Natural has produced many tracks that are all written by hand. Every beat and synth you hear is all done by real time recording off of a Roland Fantom X6. He really does not consider himself to be a producer at all. The best way described is: Its like doodling on the phone. Some good. Some Bad. In 2010, Natural released his first major attempt at writing a full on story with his production called { Legend }. This took about a year to produce and was done live on Nubreaks.com.  He used Mixing and a Keyboard to create a movie like mix for all to enjoy weather it be a dancer or just a listener. It was the first time anyone had tried to make a 5 Part movie remix to make one side of the goblins view. All 21 tracks are intended for the Dj to use from start to finish with tools inside the songs to create this journey. Natural had never had any training nor ideas from others. This was his choice because he really wanted to learn everything he could without being tainted by others thoughts. Nate has always been a sucker for a remix. You can check his tracks out on Soundcloud and Reverbnation!  Natural in 2012 walked away with a spot on The DJ List bouncing from as low as 22 for best in breaks DJ's. This was a very humbling experience, and Natural Nate looks forward to upholding these titles in the future!   Nate's main loves in life are his Family, Jenna, Pets and Music. He is always here for the underdog and has never turned a single person away in his life without reason. He looks forward to passing the torch to many deserving DJ/Producers with in The-Lost-art. He is very proud of the team and people that support this station and the preservation of the pitch with their souls! I've been a Breaks DJ for 14 years and have been on internet Radio for close to 4 years! I've spent most of my time learning the craft of being a true mix DJ! Just a strong passion to make the impossible possible.... I hand Drum every sound you hear... I do play all the keys and arpeggio's also by hand! I will make a song out of anything I can get my hands on! I love the challenge! This is a history of tracks for the most part of things from the past to present I have worked on! These really are not songs but stories.... Some good... Some bad.... I used a lot of these tracks to say things out loud without having to say anything at all... I do not try to mess with original pieces but more so to make them more mixable! The average public does not know that we opened this company by accident. Yes by accident! With the experience that TlA brings, the real story is one of the biggest mysteries on the internet radio. How did this company become the powerhouse it is today and where is it going?  www.The-Lost-Art.com was intended on being a hub system only and not a Radio station. Watching the tens of thousands of station out there, there was a common denominator out there. Great stations with gaps in the Schedule. It was the idea of opening a hub system that turned this idea into a living dream. Merging company’s with a neutral center was the pure idea. This would allow companies to remain companies and to drop the fences surrounding the industry. DJ’s and Artists merging from station to station to not just fill one station, but both or all! The promotion then go back in a huge circle of success for the stations and the DJ’s wanting new listeners. This also would help companies stay true to themselves without saying “We need help”. The standard was being set and a new industry was being created with in the internet radio community. So what went wrong with this idea?  Internet radio has been around for years and years. The one question everyone had was, is this a real DJ/Artists. Late 2005 a company called www.Usteam.tv opened the gates for a new level of Video broadcasting. With tons of research and work, www.Usteam.tv became a major tool into the Radio world. Not only could you finally see the DJs/Artists but it was a new dimension in sight and sound. This opened up a whole new industry from advertisers and company’s alike because of the visual presentation alone. { www.Usteam.tv } was awesome until the spam/commercials came in. We dont blame them because we know what it costs to run such a place. We as TLA thought video was the best way to keep the industry pure. When this technology was first investigated, its was looked down upon in a major way. We could not understand why this amazing new technology was being cursed from the get go. As time passed and more and more DJ’s were catching on, We were told that Video would NEVER work because we had just called out the whole industry. We had no Idea what that meant so we asked why? It became clear that the DJ’s and Artists that we all respected as true talent we not talented at all and this new devise was exposing the truths about sync buttons and computer programs making people famous with no real proof. It was an out rage for this community and now the real problems were at hand. www.The-Lost-Art.com was soley seeking real DJ’s to prove the mix by way of Video Broadcast. It was nearly impossible to find a station with 50% real Dj’s and artists to even do this type of trading system. It was a major fail because nobody wanted their DJ’s and Artists to stand in the new firing line that was being created. It was the toughest and most important desicion that we have ever had to make, and that was to Create the First LIVE VIDEO STATION FOR THE REAL ARTISTS AND DJS THAT PRESERVE THE PITCH AND BELIVE IN SHOWMANSHIP FIRST!! So www.The-Lost-Art.com was created by us saying we could do it better with honesty and respect.     www.The-Lost-Art.com was opened with a splash page and a ustream channel. We opened a project up in front of the world in hopes the world would be our guide as we pieced this site together with love and care for others. This project should have been in Beta stage for 2 years before releasing to the world but we decided it would be more important for others Ideas to be incorporated to make this a fair and equal place for all to enjoy. In order to really stand out and finally break the real mold of being just another station in the wall, we invested tons of time and research to being the first station in the world to own their own video broadcast thus leaving the world of spam behind for the viewers and listeners. Any station or system that is not using their own ideas or technology is just another station. It has taken extreme amounts of hours and funding to pull this off and thats because we care enough about our listener and artists to make this possible. This alone separates real stations and artists from the rest. In order to move forward in this industry you have to give the best and the best is only what we offer. It has taken us 2 1/2 years to finally say we have this perfected enough to bring it to other businesses and station. Through the good times and especially the bad times, www.The-Lost-Art.com has stood tall in the sea of Stations and companies. We are more than proud that we alone have set the highest standard for other stations and business to use. Our unique and effective system has brought so many people inside and outside of www.The-Lost-Art.com to using it in their daily lives and websites. House heads hate breaks, breaks hate house heads and the comments kept coming. We opened a all Genre station to prove that we could work together hand and hand. We are all people first with the common goals of just being noticed. Instead for saying you are better with talent and Genre, come and prove it. That was the basis for www.The-Lost-Art.com. Come prove it! Whats funny about this is, Artists and dJ’s came to prove they were the best and their genre was the strongest. We came into this site as mighty warriors for our cause to soon find that we all were fighting the same cause. It soon became clear that there was no genre anymore. It was a station filled with raw and pure talent of all levels. It was working and better than anyone could ever imagine. It is the people and the loyalty that sets this company far apart from the rest. We have DJ’s and Artists of all levels and Genres supporting a bigger cause then Just a DJ station. We support anyone and everyone that has a heart and a will to make someones life better with the power of talent and music. It is such an unbelievable place that has done charity work across the United States. It will always be important for this station to give frst. That was the whole point. Believe in something or someone that does not believe for themselves and watch this and them grow. Thats been the best part of this project. Watching people grow into great people and artists. It has made such an impact on so may peoples lives that we only want t keep sharing what we have.    For a Company that was started by Accident and a place that nobody thought that would work, We are now opening 5 New Pages to the public.
