D.C. Pronk If I had only one style in music to express myself, wouldn't I be a very limited person? The same age as Michael Jackson and born the same year as Barbie. Fidel Castro took over power in Cuba. The first sessions for Ella Fitzgerald's George and Ira Gershwin Songbook are held. Singing classes at school were torture. My voice trembled and I sang off key. I peed my pants. Classmates had a good laugh. At 18 or so I got me a guitar and started strumming and singing just for fun. 15 years later I was confident enough to perform on my birthday party. Everybody was drunk, including me. Whether it was a success I can't remember. I was too drunk... At the age of 55, I decided it was time for me to go serious about it. Took some singing lessons, and bought me some software and equipment. The results are on this site. Crawling through music's history to create something new and personal.
