Ruede has straddled the worlds of design, editorial and DJing ever since he first got involved with music. He became editor at Flyer magazine in Berlin at the beginning of the 2000s, which helped to further cement his relationship with the city's electronic music scene. Though he had experimented with music as a child, singing in a choir and playing both the flute and the guitar it wasn't until he got hold of a computer and started to make music via software that he truly began to express himself musically.

As time went on he began to release his music and gradually became recognised as a respected musician. He joined the Watergate crew and his career has spiralled upwards ever since, most rceently he was responsible for the excellent Watergate 13 compilation. It's an honour to have one of Berlin's finest on board for our mix tape series and it's a special one, enjoy!
