Audio Descriptions - Bone Stone Voice Alone by Dundee Contemporary Arts

Artist and Describer Juliana Capes has written these audio descriptions to accompany the exhibition Bone Stone Voice Alone by artist Lauren Gault, read here by DCA Exhibitions Assistant Kay Donnelly.

With more than 15 years’ experience providing audio descriptions and interpretation for galleries across Scotland, Capes has developed a poetic and emotional describing style which expands on and illuminates artworks in new ways, particularly for audiences who are blind, have low vision, or sensory impairments.

Introducing both galleries in the exhibition and some of the artworks they contain, these audio recordings offer visual descriptions and context for the work to encourage slow looking, listening, and contemplation.
