"The perception of the number three as a mystic and special one is certainly a matter of endless discussions. But without a doubt this number is a sign of sustainability. Dark Ambient Radio has been a shelter for the ones passionate for the deepest and darkest reincarnations of post-industrial music. However, the ever growing listeners community of this web radio station has never been solely focused on consuming sound, but has also established a relentless will to create their own sonic worlds.

As a proof, March 2013 witnessed the release of Muzak for the Final Elevation, the third volume of the CD compilation curated by Dark Ambient Radio, which aims to present the some of the finest artists inhabiting this solid collective. Just like in the previous releases the listener will be able to experience a number of different approaches to dark ambient -- some of them emerged from collaborative work, some pulled out of secluded contemplation. Muzak for the Final Elevation consists of eleven pieces by Aspectee, Nepenthe, Valerio Orlandini, Mortaja, Sjellos, CrepusculaR, Myth Industries, Stephen Parsick, Winterbound, and Mytrip and has a total playing time of 72 minutes. They were selected through anonymous voting among the artists in order to assure the listener is presented a representative collection of the essence that is circulating in the veins of the dark ambient community."
