Danny McMartin Sydney One of the last remaining ‘Surf Rock’ artists in the world! Danny’s love of Surf Rock was inevitable after being raised near the beach on a staple diet of epic surf film soundtracks. His future was set early to be a master craftsman and carve out his own modern twist to the Surf Rock genre. Having a promiscuous musical background all laid a foundation for what would become his unique solo surf guitar work of today. Danny’s musical sojourn has taken him on tours in Japan and the Philippines, to festivals playing for tens of thousands in Australia and several intimate shows in the UK for Amy Winehouse, members of Jamiroquai and The Clash. Not to mention having the pleasure of playing INXS greatest hits with some of its original members. With his full-length debut album ‘Ocean On Fire’ produced by Sean Carey (Thirty Merc) out now, the future will be a tsunami of feel good party tunes.
