This Watersons session from the Andy Kershaw show in August 1986 is the earliest thing in my Carthy/Watersons collection. It was the first time I'd ever heard The Watersons and I was completely blown away and instantly obsessed. The sound quality has suffered over the last 26 years but it's still worth sharing.

The Watersons on these recording are Mike, Lal, Norma & Rachel Watersons and Martin Carthy. The tracks are:

The session was recorded on 7 August 1986 at Strawberry Sound Studios in Stockport.
