Spinning a new leaf for 2026, co:clear presents ‘Imago’ – a pristine collection of modern-classical electronica from Burning Pyre. With impeccable vocal offerings from Australian poet 3NDLES5 and Shell Company lead-vocalist Rosabella Allen, this album represents a broadening of horizons for the Newcastle upon Tyne denizen, who also heads up the Eastern Nurseries imprint.

There’s a poignant sensibility throughout this body of work: thoughtful melodic stabs pair delicately with emotive ambience and precise textural specks. It’s a sonic blossoming that lays its roots in atmospheric-ambient divagations, yet over time blooms with enveloping subs and skittering percussion – flowering fresh strains of dub, downtempo and trip-hop.
