Newshour Cages Revisited by Chloe Hadjimatheou

Last month the BBC reported about a care home in the south of Greece, where children with disabilities are being kept in cages. The people running the centre say the cages are necessary for the children's protection. At the time the Greek government said they hoped to eventually improve conditions for the children but they couldn't say when. Well, following that BBC broadcast the Deputy Minister for Health has been to visit the centre for herself and has concluded that the cages ARE acceptable.
