When CHIXY is on the bill, you know it's gonna be a party. Known for high-energy, bass-heavy sets, CHIXY GUAP aka Kelsey is a DJ and producer who channels her sound from the trapical ratchetverse, navigating global genres from UK club to trap to baile funk and beyond. A fan of forward-thinking low-end, fresh world rhythms, and selects that generally make you go “DAAMMMMNNN," she has a highly intuitive way of keeping the room bumpin'.

Fusing many different voices and flavors, CHIXY stirs up an undeniably spicy sound (and a packed dance floor).

Since starting her DJ career in 2021, CHIXY's already been fortunate to play well-known venues and festivals across the US, Mexico, and Canada, including Shambhala, Soundpieces, Shady's Rest at Oregon Country Fair, Camp Questionmark at Burning Man, and more. She also already has a few of her own productions floating around the sonic stratosphere.

Based in Portland, OR, but originally from the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, Kelsey's been privileged to travel extensively, and her selects reflect exposure to many different soundscapes and people. She’s particularly fond of femme-forward rap, music in Spanish and Portuguese, sounds from the African Diaspora and basically anything underground that makes your chest vibrate. Heavily influenced by years living off and on in Mexico City, she also spent several summers working the Amphitheatre Stage at Shambhala Music Festival in Canada, where she witnessed dozens of up-and-coming bass connoisseurs alike.
