Sleep Disorders (2013) by Ching-Shan Chang published on 2014-09-26T10:22:31Z Mov 1: Distorted dreams Mov 2: Broken and together Mov 3: Nightmare Mov 4: Final symptom Music Program Note: This is the piece that is really intimate for me because it reflects every symptom I have in the vicious cycle of sleep disorders. I decided to write the piece because I personally undergo every single stage of sleep disorders, and it became the inspiration of the four movements of this piece. In each movement, I inserted symbolic themes, which represent different symptoms; and they all join and mingle together in the last movement as a chaotic, unexplainable signs in the sleep.
