Every producer of electronic dance music has a trademark sound, providing a similar vibe in each bit of their productions. Chas Bronz is one of the few who confounds this theory. Dipping his fingers into genres such as House, Deep House, Funk, Disco, and Hip Hop, Chas has done it all. Being an all-rounder with a vast knowledge and experience of music, his passion seeps through to reveal his inherent curiosity with the various forms of music.
Having a passion for music since childhood, Chas decided to take his passion further and turn it into a career, studying music synthesis and audio engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Besides having taught music for a while, as well as producing for others and being a session player, Chas took things to the next level and began producing solo, as well as many other groups, all which have seen raving reviews.
Chas expanded his ideas of music by collaborating with other fellow producers as well as his solo work, by the likes of Long Distance Analog on Mullet Recordings, which saw Chas and Curtis's exposure onto Hed-Kandi, as well as projects Graceful Exit with Walter Jones, which was quickly scooped up by American house/disco honchos DFA. Chas has also teamed up with Slovenian disco legend Sare Havlicek to create the duo Trans-atlantic Disco Alliance, which has seen releases on UK's disco powerhouse label Nang. If this wasn't enough, Chas joined together with Shawn Mac in 2010 to create Casual Encounters, which has seen the light of much buzz and exposure, remixing the likes of Penguin Prison, Drop Out Orchestra, Dana Bergquist & Peder G to name a few, and being remixed by the likes of Rayko, Patrick Alavi, Drop Out Orchestra, Walter Jones, and many more.
Production, and post-production are not the only skills that Chas bring to the table. For the past 5 years, Mr. Bronz has been rocking the decks with his eclectic choice of deep, seductive, funky, yet soulful grooves, having playing alongside Gigamesh, FM Attack, TJR, Tiger & Woods, Charles Feelgood, Walter Jones, Orchard Lounge, and playing international gigs.
With so much to offer, 2022 will be the unveiling of many more tracks, remixes, and gigs from the man himself, Chas Bronz.
