2 Mediamakers Connect Journalism & Therapy by Café con Cass/ A cup of Coffee with Cass

Independent journalist Micaela Kimball invited me to the Podcast Garage, a community space in Allston, M.A. for budding multimedia journalists and all things podcast oriented. Here's the scoop from Micaela herself: "Today I did my first podcast with my friend and indie journalist, Cassandra from Café con Cass. We talked about intersections between the journalism process and therapy. We grounded the podcast in Cass' experience writing about Puerto Rico for NPR's Latino USA and how this was a therapeutic process for her, her derailed plans to leave for the island tomorrow to do journalism and healing work because of Hurricane Maria, and her potential to do future work there despite the circumstances."
