Buck you would be a great teacher and a superb narrator of audio books. 2014-10-22T04:48:19Z Comment by Scott Keough Great show! You have a gift in taking a complex story and presenting it in an entertaining and informative manner. What's next......Valmy, Gaugamela, Hastings or Saratoga? Tours would be appropriate given the subject matter in Lepanto. Thanks Buck! 2014-10-11T22:50:05Z Comment by David Charles Osborne Homeschool History lesson courtesy of Buck Sexton. You forgot to add the most important part! The pope had asked for all to pray the rosary to Mary and ask for a vicotry. The wind changed all of a sudden and the battle was won! From that day on Oct 7th was know as a special feast day dedicated to Our Lady of Victory. We currently know the day, Oct 7th, as the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We pray even now to her to protect us again from those raging the current calipahte. Our Lady of Victory pray for us!!! 2014-10-10T04:41:35Z Comment by Brad Schoenfeld Amazing job Buck. You could hear not only the passion, but the depth of knowledge because of all the prep you put in. My favorite thing had to be the sound effects the halo music was perfect. In seriousness I think the best thing about it was that you only spent about 5 minutes on the details of the battle. Instead you chose to go into what lead up to it, and you didnt bring this up because you were telling a fantastic story, but you explained to a T what these extremists want, because they had it, for a long time. The battle is what finally turned the tide against them, thats what is important about it, and by focusing on explaining the 500+ years of radicalism that is basically what we are seeing today was a great decision. This needs to be the next American University Podcast. Is it possible to sell as like a mini audiobook type thing on itunes? .99cents is more than fair considering the work you put in, I'm 26, a subscriber to the blaze, and would happily pay for all of these and I think many people would agree. I think maybe instead of calling it a special of your show you just call it the battle of Lapanto (maybe add something about the rise and fall of the last Caliphate. Just a few thoughts. Thanks for the hard work. 2014-10-09T03:29:37Z Comment by ChariD This was the best history show ever!
