Brendan Philip Bren Toronto The visionary space case known as Brendan Philip is a singer/songwriter from Toronto. Through music, he has created a diverse and experimental listening experience that is altogether romantic, yearning and at times incoherent. It is an atmospheric sound for the vagabond laced with cosmopolitan ideals and psychedelic anguish. BP was the first place recipient for the 2013 Harbourfront Soundclash award, sharing the stage with hip-hop jazz powerhouse BADBADNOTGOOD. This record broke ground as the first indie rap release to chart #1 on the station.
