Black Anemone Jönköping Formed in 2010, Black Anemone got together when a couple of friends, fresh into high school decided to start playing music with each other. After months of rehearsing, playing live and the release of a demo, the band recorded their EP “Let the Freakshow Begin” in 2011 and three years later their full-length album titled “King of Kings” in 2013. After a couple of years of strictly playing live the band hit the studio again and released their second album “In It for Life” in 2017. The band has got themselves quite the reputation in their home area winning awards like” Best local act” and has had their music broadcasted all over the globe in countries like the USA and Australia. Black Anemone is a band that attributes everything they are into the love of playing music, the love of playing live. They try to embody the constant grinding that is the music business of today. They are known for their intense, pedal to the metal live shows, sing along mixture of rock and traditional melodies. With their new release “Chasing the Sun” set to release in 2020 they continue their forward momentum into the future.
