Art and artists have an invaluable role to play in the work of creating a better future for all beings on this bright, blue, beautiful planet. My art work has been evolving around color, sound and joy and very often channels nature, with the hope to create more awareness for our planet and its resources and to inspire joyful action and engagement on this issue. Since as long as I can remember, the environment has been treated as a secondary concern… In our politics, economics and lifestyles. Now is a time of change, life can no longer continue as it has. My art is not a fixed entity - I work across a variety of mediums - painting in oil, acrylic, watercolor, chalk pastel, silk painting, singing and writing. I respond to the inspirations of the moment. When I paint or write or sing, the story flows out of me all at once. Ideas come to me as if by magic and I use whatever I have on hand to turn the nameless I have received into a physical presence. I found that different creative channels respond to different energies that my inspiration brings forth. So I choose the paints, change lyrics and emerge myself into this space that I call the zone, where color and sound merge and magic lives. Art is and creates a space that the viewer, reader and listener can receive beyond words and color. It invites, inspires, transforms and beautifies. The funds that I'm raising, my first fundraiser, ever, will allow me to create more art during these difficult times and to continue my ability to share my creativity with you. Thank you so much!
