Web Safe 2k16, Live, Brooklyn Book Festival, 2016 by BenSisto published on 2023-01-09T14:11:04Z Web Safe 2k16 is a literary/graphic project exploring our memories of the pre-broadband Internet and related technologies. The project uses Lynda Weinman’s Web Safe color palette as a field of reference constraining a large and heterogeneous archive of personal recollections: 216 authors write 216 words each, inspired by a specific color in the web safe range. Beginning 2/16/16, one piece was published daily. This live recording was made at Littlefield in Brooklyn, New York on September 18, 2016 as part of the Brooklyn Book Festival. For this event a limited number of participants, mainly those who were local, were able to participate. There's also a recording from Ace Hotel (London), and from the PRX Podcast Garage (Boston) covering other works.
