As a live performance “KARIAKOO” is playing with the boundaries between live radio and electronic tape composition. Limiting the theatrical elements on stage to an absolute minimum: 2 large speakers and 8 (colored) theater lights. All is derived from Aurélie Lierman’s personal field recordings made on her first trip to Dar Es Salaam, Summer 2011. Genre RADIO ART
