James Lingwood and Mike Kelley in conversation (2010) by Artangel

In 2010, a replica of the facade of Mike Kelley's childhood home — a 1950s Westland suburban house — travelled around the city of Detroit with the intention of dispensing various socially useful services. This maiden voyage and various events that happened around the artwork, Mobile Homestead, were captured by the artist in three films completed just before his death in 2012.
