It represent the result of a year long period of experimentation and discoveries through which our three main artists (Kumo, Hedra and Harptical) evolved their sounds. It stands as a voyage into Arroyo’s sonic aesthetic: the spectral atmosphere of New Wave, the dance vibes of Eleven and Reach Me, the dub-ambient and dissonant vibes of Hedra’s Dive Out and Won and Harptical’s dialectic between oniric voices and heavy bass vibes. We consider it as an heterogeneous-yet-consistent choir composed by different musical visions. We like to think of Arroyo as a boundless, ever-changing space, in which ideas can travel and unfold uninhibitedly. Our only constant is the will to transcend stylistic boundaries and music genres, to explode the conventional categories in order to foster experimentation and innovation. Together, we are building a shared aesthetics, outside the traditional limitations and preconceptions; we are propelled by the need to discover, create and communicate.
