Back in the late 1980s, a demo titled She surfaced, born from the creative minds of three young musicians - Rick and Remon Melsert and Paul Nieuwenhuijsen - and brought to life with the expert touch of Michiel van der Kuy (Laser Dance, Rygar, Koto). Under the moniker Kick The Habit, the project was set to fuse their collective talents with Michiel's unmistakable flair and a dash of early house influences. But for reasons lost to time, the track was shelved, vanishing into obscurity for over 35 years.
Now, this forgotten treasure has been unearthed, thanks to Michiel Van Der Kuy, Sergi Elias, and the Vintage Pleasure Boutique label. Finally seeing the light of day, „She“ has been reimagined with five stunning versions, including the original and fresh remixes by the brilliant Prospero duo, who infuse Michiel’s timeless 1980s magic.
