On Thursday, June 24, 2021, we hosted an ASF CONNECT program featuring Congressman Bill Huizenga(YL 2009, R-MI) in conversation with Christa Markwalder (YL 2006), National Counciler (FDP-Bern).

Bill Huizenga has represented Michigan's 2nd Congressional District since 2010. He is a member of the prestigious House Financial Services Committee, which has jurisdiction over issues pertaining to banking, housing, insurance, monetary policy, and international finance. He serves on two subcommittees for the 117th Congress. He is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets, and a member of the Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development, and Insurance.
