Genre Electronic Comment by ontrackp I'm enjoying the quirky, odd melody. It has a lot of character. 2026-02-15T17:32:59Z Comment by ontrackp ehh.... sorry... the mix feels off here -- the shakers (?) are too loud and the hi sound is too loud, or boosted too much up top. 2026-02-15T17:32:23Z Comment by ontrackp this section is good 2026-02-15T17:31:22Z Comment by ontrackp Interesting track - the high end feels a little strident to me on the chord/pad in the first section. I like the bass and drums - very nicely balanced. 2026-02-15T17:31:05Z Comment by NeverBeenInARiot I agree with the Silverpanted one about the early electronic sound at the start, I liked that a lot. Not sure I was all in with the dissonnences; some were quite cool, some were a bit too much for me. Mix-wise, the overall balance fine although it feels a little heavy on the high-end, a little light on the low end, I think, kick forward a bit and hats back a bit perhaps (they're a bit shrill, not necessarily too loud). Lots of great wee riffs though. 2026-02-14T23:18:10Z Comment by SP it's not background music because of the dissonance but if I listen to it intently it works 2026-02-13T22:12:19Z Comment by SP This sounds like an experimental track from one of the early Human League albums. pretty awesome. I like the clashing chords. it makes it deep and mysterious 2026-02-13T22:11:41Z Comment by SP A wonderfully peculiar song! It's strange - but alluring.... 2026-02-13T16:28:30Z Comment by treeheated Sometimes it sounds good and sometimes there are clashes. I gather from the conversation below that the dissonances are intentional. So it's got me wondering why I just hear them as clashes. It's probably something to do with music theory, but maybe also the question of whether these dissonances help to build tension as part of a story. 2026-02-13T13:53:14Z Comment by Zio Mau intersting track but sowhere there are weird notes over chords 2026-02-10T23:38:15Z Comment by Loris this is a good track but i have some critiques, first the lead is too loud and plingy, i think dial it back by like 8 to 10 db. As was mentioned there is some dissonace. You could benefit gratly from better sound selection. this song is like a picasso painting, the style is unique and unconventional, but if you really flesh it out, and get your sounds to coalesce you may develop a very unique product. Even the craziest songs stil have to follow some rules, they have to have a good mix and be pleasing to the ear, get your mixed dialed in a bit, and some musical elements to agree and then experiment away. If this offends you and you want some revenge just go back into KVR records and look up my music when i started. 2026-02-08T05:48:46Z Comment by Violator_alba I do like a bit of dissonance! 2026-02-08T00:26:24Z Comment by Aaron Grooves Ok I have to ask. Are the intersecting tonalities thematic, like everything in the singularity is coalescing to a single point? The beginning of the track was pretty clearly minor. But then major started infiltrating, and by 3:42 all rules are off lol 2026-02-02T23:36:44Z Comment by Aaron Grooves I really like this section! 2026-02-02T23:31:33Z
