in den auseinandersetzungen um den israelisch-palästinensischen konflikt in der berliner linken und der clubkulturszene hagelte es zuletzt in den sozialen medien gegenseitige beschimpfungen und diffamierungen. diejenigen, die abseits des getöses gegen antisemitismus und/oder rassismus arbeiten oder sich für progressive kulturelle formate und orte mit einer offenen diskussionskultur einsetzen, stehen dabei entsetzt und ratlos vor diesem scherbenhaufen und fragen sich: sieht so eine emanzipatorische, linke clubkultur aus?

anliegen dieser veranstaltung war es, einen prozess zu eröffnen, um der spaltung von emanzipatorischen bewegungen entgegenzuwirken, so dass rassismus- und antisemitismus-kritik neben- und miteinander möglich sind. da die debatte von starken vereinfachungen, polarisierungen und homogenisierenden zuschreibungen geprägt ist, möchten wir perspektiven sichtbar machen, die quer zu den vermeintlichen lagern liegen, die binäre freund-feind-logik hinterfragen und analysieren sowie auswege aus dem dilemma aufzeigen oder im gespräch entwickeln.

in the discussions about the israeli-palestinian conflict in berlin's left-wing and club culture scene, there has recently been a hail of mutual insults and defamation in the social media. those who work against anti-semitism and/or racism outside of the hubbub or are committed to progressive cultural formats and places with an open culture of discussion stand aghast and perplexed in front of this shambles and ask themselves: is this what an emancipatory, left-wing club culture looks like?

the aim of this event was to open a process to counteract the division of emancipatory movements, so that criticism of racism and anti-semitism are possible next to and with each other. since the debate is characterized by strong simplifications, polarizations and homogenizing attributions, we would like to make perspectives visible that lie across the supposed camps, question and analyze the binary friend-foe logic and show ways out of the dilemma or develop them in conversation.
