The Walnut Ridge Bobcats baseball program is off to a flying start to their 2021 season, standing at 10-and-1 overall (8-1 in 3AAA Conference play), and ranked number one in Class AAA in the Arkansas Sports Media High School Baseball poll. They dropped their league opener in 11 innings at Gosnell March 8 for their only defeat to date, but got some revenge on the Pirates (#2 in Class AAA) with a 9-3 victory on Monday in Lawrence County. Second-year head coach Jason Belcher joined "The Drive with Brad Bobo" in the First National Bank High School Coaches' Corner on Tuesday to give us a look at his squad.
