Monsieur Minimal has found much success in his native Greece with a sound defined mainly as indie pop but with a lot of electronic influences and elements, expressed through simple, beautiful melodies and sweet pop vocals. “Candy Face” demonstrates the darker, downtempo side of Monsieur Minimal, complete with dreamy vocals, melodic layers, and reverb boxes set at ‘11’ combining to create an appealing ‘shoegaze’ trip.
