is there anything the wavestation cannot do! Really nice sounds!
-
@SenorFrio: well actually this is not a wavestation its a real kalimba recorded with a contact mic
-
@SenorFrio: oh wait i guess you meant the efx running onthe line ins yes?
-
@proem: yeah, I didn't realize the wavestation had a line in. Really lush sounds!
-
@SenorFrio: yes, I meant the inputs. So, does it run inputs through the wavestation's fx chain?
-
@SenorFrio: yep. can even route the two seperate inputs into different parts of the effects chain

me. (improvising) a contact mic. and a kalimba run through the inputs/effects on the wavestation. I'll probably wind up chopping this into something useful... but as this is about the third or fourth one I've done, in as many days I figured I'd share it.wavestation ram1 performance #27 Uploaded by proem Start following Send a message on July 27, 2009 00:34

endless possibilities with the people from clavia. do you prefer the wavestation over the g2?
-
@quoth: I'm sure clavia makes excellent stuff but the wavestation is and always has been the holy grail of hardware for me ever since i touched one back in the mid 90's
-
@proem: ah damn, forgive me, i thought you were speaking of the nord wave... my bad. on that note, this is the first time i have heard a korg wavestation. it's nice.
-
@quoth: i doubt that. the wavestation was used to a great extent by FSOL orbital,... and well apple (as in the boot sound for osx)

or reason #27 to be in love with the wavestation this was a direct line recording from the four outs on the ws a/d into reaper multitrack. one key held for 32 bars no other effects aside from the ones onboard tis a shining example of how the hardware sounds a million times better than the cr...nice of you to join us Uploaded by proem Start following Send a message on July 07, 2009 03:19

not sure where else i want to go with this but it feels... hollow and perhaps not as spiny as id hoped Maybe I'll just Rework the drum Sounds and call it a day,... on second thought. its done.- eyes bursting within my skull Artwork

i'm not entirely sure how i feel about the way this one turned out. can't all be gems i suppose. :)
i can imagine this through a swirling analog filter, maybe with so bit rate change fading in and out, nice atmosphere, keep at it
@rayspark-industries: ooo that is an excellent idea. thanks!
