Abby Godwin is a Unique, Passionate & Purpose-Driven Prophetic Psalmist with a significant mandate to establish & represent God's love on earth.

Born into a very musical family - at the tender age of 4, her dad being the Choir Director recruited her to sing in the "Alto section" of the church choir. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she continued to develop her gift by taking singing lessons, singing solo parts in school plays and productions, listening extensively to model artists who's work inspired her.

Abby is blessed with a Mezzo-Soprano voice with a warm soulful tone and texture with broad vocal range and dexterity & agility. She's got a broad versatility in genres and can perform; Soul, RnB, Afro-centric Jazz, Traditional & contemporary Gospel, Blues, to name a few.

She has recorded and performed with various Artistes like Sammie Okposo, Lagbaja, Mike Aremu, Asu Ekiye, Broda Martins, Faith Ajiboye amongst many others. Also, she worked as a session singer for many years recording radio jingles, Nollywood movie & soap opera soundtracks. The most popular one is "This Life" - A Wale Adenuga production. She is currently an active member and one of the lead vocalists of the Europe's premier "London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC)"

A British citizen - born in London - raised in Nigeria, recently, she graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelors degree from a British University. She is a recipient of the LCGC AWARD for "Most Inspiring Vocalist" for 2009.

Abby uses her music as a tool to raise funds to provide financial support for orphaned and underprivileged children. Furthermore, her utmost desire is to bring healing and restoration to the broken and abused through her music. Proceeds from her debut EP album titled "Still Here" will be donated to Golden Child Haven International, a UK-based charity which she recently founded and presides over.
