Goodnight Freeman Denver Founded by brothers Chad Hadersbeck and Joe Schliewe, their first album was written and tested at open mics in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas, TX. Every Tuesday night, they got together with talented musicians and shared drinks, laughs and music. It was always a good night at the Free Man Cajun Cafe. Hence the name, Goodnight Freeman. Eventually the mountains called their name and the boys packed up and moved to Denver, CO. In Denver, they added Colorado native and veteran to the Denver music scene, Jason Spillman on bass. Jason brought in a former bandmate, Brian Rempel, to man the drums. In early 2017, Chris Christofferson was added on keys, filling out the powerful Goodnight Freeman sound. Goodnight Freeman brings a big sound with lots of instrument, dynamic and tempo changes brought together with thoughtful melodies and crisp 3-part harmonies. They sound like Alt-J, Local Natives, Hozier, Fleet Foxes and The Lumineers got together and had a musical baby.
