You Close Your Eyes Get yourself a little awake and wipe away the crust from your eyes the love that you said was away has alway been in front of your eyes but you close them 'cause you think that it’ll hurt your eyes and then you’ll never get to see the life that has no meaning no right to even be alive but that's no oh oh that's no way to live your life hiding behind a fear that lies and in a way you're right it can always come back to bite no one knows if she'll take your heart and slit it wide take your life for a ride and waste it all the while she smiles and drags it on kicks it like a dog that just went on the rug and leaves it like she forgot.
