NEW VERSION. I really didn't like the bass line in the first one, so I redid it in this new take. - We Artwork

nice. except for the synthy strings, this song totally felt like late Beatles material
-
Thank you ! It's funny you should find the strings synthy. I kinda thought that too. It's two tracks of mellotorn in different registers, then EQ'd and FX'd to the the point of Arpness.

Has the atmosphere of meditation. Picture could be, because you see making your music like painting: One sits relaxed there and watcjes something. Michael

it lacks structure right now, but the potential is big. there's nothing wrong with the repeating theme, but i think you should try to progress it at set intervals. after the melodic buildup there should be some percussion to bring it home. it has all the classic aspects of nursery rhyme nostalgia, maybe some lyrics could reflect that. someone reflecting on his son or daughter perhaps.

Relaxing. In painting one could call this a "still life". Michael

Very pretty Bill. Could use some guitar chording? Maybe some vocal harmonies? Keep going and finish it. I look forward to hearing the rest.

really nice melody ... i think you should consider filling this out with some additional instruments, not to draw away from the mellotron, but to enhance the development ... this sets a pleasant mood; i can see why you like working the mellotron :-) good job.
