Broken Before Burned a piece of me broke off today it lay there with its edges frayed maybe it was the truth or the ruin of wasted youth lovers that never loved maybe 'cause it wasn't due threw it in the fire to watch it burn it twisted and it turned black then grey even if I pulled it from the fire I couldn't ever save it damaged from a fall long before it was broken before it burned
