TheDeliverance IR by User 354566433 published on 2020-05-20T10:41:54Z This is a recording of my VHT / Deliverance 60 Clone. I used a DIY reactive load and a free impulse response of a Celestion Vintage 30 from Wilkinson Audio. There is no other FX in the signal chain other than the impulse response loader. This is a rather faithful clone, with the following exceptions: - EL34s in the power stage - Voltages on B+ are a little less - footswitchable more/less with seperate master volumes - bass enhancement for the more mode around local feedback loop in the preamp was kept the same for less mode, since fo my tast lss mode sounded too thin - no paralleled triodes as first stage This amp sounds phenomenal. I can't say too many good things about it, for the moment it seems to be perfect, it may push the Jube from its throne. To me it doesn't sound dry (like many say describing its sound), but it is very tight and the mids are where they should be, good bass, still tight. Warm yet aggressive. Plenty of very pleasant sizzle on top. Cleans up very good, almost perfect on less mode. However, due to corona, I haven't had the chance to play it loud, other than with my reactive load, which can also attenuate from almost stage volume to bedorom volume. Settings: all on 5, except volumes on 2.5 (which is plenty loud using a cabinet).
